Press Release
The Breastfeeding Community of Practice (CoP) is pleased to introduce: The Breastfeeding Support Helping Tree
If you are a new mother, know a new mother, or if you work with breastfeeding mothers, welcome to your new resource guide for Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)!
WHAT: The Helping Tree is a resource for breastfeeding families in HRM. This guide provides an extensive list of community resources specifically designed to support a breastfeeding mom and her family.
FOR: The Tree is for families within HRM that would like knowledge and support around breastfeeding. It can also be a tool for those who interact with new mothers requiring breastfeeding support.
DETAILS: The Helping Tree has been over a year in the making. Members of the CoP worked tirelessly to consult with service providers throughout HRM to ensure accuracy. The online version of The Helping Tree is being continuously updated such that families accessing information via our website will always have the most current information available.
